Season begins!
The time out is over, I am back into training. After my last race in London I recovered for four weeks. In the first weeks I had treatments for my back every day.
Thanks to my Osteophat Katrin Rödiger (TopTeam, Ludwigsburg) I could feel pretty soon a big improvement. So I went to Spain for a two weeks beach holiday in Calella. But as I can’t stay longer than two hours on the beach, I went for long hikes in the mountains and also started with some Gym work. From Andreas Eppinger (also TopTeam) I got a very good work out plan and sweat a lot in the gym. So it was great to go into the fantastic Silence Spa afterwards. (Thank you, Brenton, for organizing everything so well again!).
After this holiday I could start with normal training again. It was still September, the last years I used to do races at this time, but this time I wanted to build up a good base.
To get some motivation for training I decided to compete already in some races. I won’t be very fit, but it will be all about the fun. That’s why I take the train to France tomorrow to race the Coup de France in Parthenay for my French team from Chateauroux. And on the 16th of October I fly to Spain again to race the Garmin Barcelona Triathlon.
