Budapest World Cup Final on Sunday
After Kitzbühel I stayed a few days in Munich with my brother. There I took the opportunity to ride the bike course of the German Championships the 18th September in Schliersee. As we will ride up to the Spitzingsee, the course is really challenging and it's always good to know what to expect.
Then I flew back to Spain to enjoy once again the good weather. However, there it was also noticeably cooler. Summer is always too short.
On the last weekend in August I packed my bags again and traveled to Tours, the penultimate French Grand Prix. Despite a slightly strenuous journey (flight delay, missed train, by train and subway aimlessly through Paris, etc.), I reached a good 6th place became third with the team.
From Tours, I finally came back home, where I spent the last week and a half. As we had really good weather, I trained every day at the outdoor pool in Winnenden where it is great to swim.
Tomorrow I'll fly to Budapest, where the Final of the World Championships Series will be held on Sunday. As there are a third more points, I hope I can improve my place in the ranking a bit.
